What It’s All About

Your unique ability to understand multiple cultures and transitioning complex entertainment products from one culture to the next sets you apart from the rest of the crowd. Working in a high paced creative environment, you interact with the development team in the US as well as the community team in Europe. Interacting directly with our Director of Global Integration, your strong management and administrative skills assure that Firefall will be well received in various countries throughout Europe. Managing a team of editors, translators, and Localization Editors for our European office is challenging and satisfying as you place great emphasis on communication and quality. Localizing the game for new language markets and remaining on the cutting edge with the development team in the US enables you to generate unyielding enthusiasm to your team in bringing the flame of Firefall to Europe.

A Typical Day

In the morning you meet with the European Community Manager and go over some new releases and updates that are going to be implemented in the game. Discussing with your team how best to regionalize content, you realize that this project may require additional external translators to meet the deadlines set by the Director of Global Integration. Contacting your external resources, you arrange a meeting with the team to go over the required changes to ensure that quality deliveries are on schedule. Next you check in with the Editorial team and provide them with spot checks and direction in their efforts to assure that the additional content will be playable in their respective countries and translate successfully into those markets.

Who You Work With

Taking your direction from the Director of Global Integration, you are empowered to craft a long-term strategy for Firefall’s growth throughout Europe. Day-to-day you work with the multi-national Localization Team who adhere to your strong administrative and management skills in crafting changes to enhance the game’s experience in their respective countries. The Community Managers also interact with you and provide guidance in anticipating the gamers’ needs so that your team’s direction and work progress assures a successful experience with our players.
