Director of Talent Acquisition
Jeff began working in the games industry with Sega Technical Institute working on the Sonic projects and then off to that “new 3D experience” at Crystal Dynamics where he staffed up on Gex and other original titles.
Universal Interactive was the next calling where he helped staff up Naughty Dog in it’s early stages of development working on Crash Bandicoot and some Insomniac titles too. After a few years at EA staffing for James Bond, Madden, and NASCAR he left EA looking for the next technological breakthrough and dedicated team. He feels like he has found his dream development tribe at Red 5 Studios.
Q: How did you get your start in the games industry?
A: I started recruiting in the games industry when I had an engineering consulting firm and one of our programmers went to work with a company named EPYX. They made a hand held game that later exploded and a lot of those developers went on to SEGA and Crystal Dynamics. From there I joined Universal Interactive with Naughty Dog and Insomniac before working with EA for several years on various console projects.
Q: Eggs… scrambled or fried?
A: Eggs Benedict for me… sloppy, with mustard and hot-sauce (hey, I won’t talk about what you eat if you don’t talk about what I eat!)
